Ripping

“Ripping” music means converting your CD into a digital music format that can be listened to on your MP3 player. This process shrinks down the memory size of each song without losing sound quality. Ripping is what makes it possible to fit so many songs on your Fuel. There are also many websites where you can buy songs that are already in MP3 format. Every time you wish to put new music on your MP3 player, a CD needs to be ripped. But once it has been ripped, the song files can be stored on your computer's hard drive for quick and easy access for the next time you want to add it to your player's play list.

Check out this program we suggest you use to rip your CDs:
Media Player 10

Purchasing

When you purchase MP3 formatted music online you will need to make a back-up audio CD that is formatted to play on a normal CD player. Then with this back-up CD, rip it into MP3 formatted music and drag these new files onto your MP3 player. Keep these newly ripped files on your hard drive for better organization.

We suggest purchasing music at the following link:   Puretracks
